Job Description

• Coordinates and contributes towards projects by compiling and executing project activity plans.
• Plans and coordinates own and technical project work activities.
• Participates in planning and conducting veld condition assessments (woody & herbaceous).
• Independently conducts technical support within projects.
• Collect, captures, process, interprets technical data, and makes project recommendations.

Job Requirements

• MSc/M.Tech or equivalent plus 2-years applicable experience, or BSc/B. Tech Degree or equivalent plus 6 years applicable experience, or National Diploma plus 8 years applicable experience
• Demonstrated capacity to conduct research at postgraduate level.
• Practical experience and technical knowledge of rangeland ecology & management research projects, financial and human resource management .
• Present results to stakeholders (advise/trains).
• Compile external & internal technical reports.
• Present results to stakeholders (advise/trains).
• Knowledge on maintenance of equipment and infrastructure needed for research.
• Knowledge on safety standards as prescribed by the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
