The ARC- Onderstepoort Veterinary Research (ARC-OVR) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Onderstepoort, Pretoria.
Job Description
  • Drawing and manufacturing of specialized equipment.
  • General maintenance of Lab and Farm equipment.
  • Maintenance of asset and infrastructure to extend the lifespan.
  • Welding work in the campus, e.g. stables, steam line, etc.
  • Manufacturing of equipment, e.g. farm equipment, steel furniture, etc.
  • Adhere work activities within the organization.
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12/ N3 with mathematics and science qualified as Boilermaker Section 13 (Artisan) Red seal/Trade test.
  • Three years' experience in asset and infrastructure management.
  • Stainless and aluminium welding will be advantage.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
