Job Requirements

Minimum Bursary Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field
  • Registered or accepted to study a doctoral (Ph.D) qualification in Agricultural Sciences or a related field in a South African University.

Terms

  • The bursary will be payable in 12 monthly instalments after signing a contract; students will be expected to settle their study fees, accommodation, transport, food, and/or any other expenses.
  • Students will be allocated a mentor from the ARC to assist them with real-life research projects for their studies.
  • Students will be expected to attend workplace training during academic holidays or times discussed with the mentor.
  • Payment of the bursary award will depend on submitting a valid proof of registration.

Masters: R 160 000 Non-Taxable
