The ARC- Animal Production (ARC- AP) seeks to appoint a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic person to the following position at Glen.
Job Description
  • Caring of chickens, feeding of animals.
  • Cleaning of chicken houses and of water/feeding troughs.
  • Offloading activities.
  • Maintenance of buildings and surrounding fence.
  • General Repairs.
  • Daily Inspection of animals.
  • Research support.
  • Compliance with animal ethics and welfare.
  • Reproduction and Breeding.
  • Recording of Animal feed.
  • Compliance with OHS.
Job Requirements
  • A Grade 12 with 3 years relevant experience or Grade 10 with 8 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
